Notes:
1. Your partner must register within 3 days of your registration, otherwise you will be moved to the wait list.
Partners must register at the level of the highest rated partner. 
2. If your preferred event is missing in the registration form it means that the event is full. There will be a provision on the form for you to add your name to the wait list and to indicate your preferred event.

3. Event schedules and groups will be emailed after registration is complete.

4. It is essential that you sign-in at the Arena at least 30 minutes before your scheduled event
5. The Gibsons Arena will be available for practice 9:30 - 12:30 on May 30.
6. Protective eyewear is required for pickleball players to minimize the risk of eye injuries from fast-moving balls and unpredictable shots.
7. A player hit above the neck by an opposing player from midcourt forward results in a fault for the opposing team

Payment:
Payment of the $40 registration fee is by credit or debit card at the point of registration. No refunds after May 30.
 

Format:
Round robin format with medals for the first, second and third place teams in each category. Placings will be based on the # of wins. The tie breaking sequence will be head to head results, point differentials and then points scored.
Games will be played first to 11. Franklin X-40 outdoor ball.

Minimum # of teams per event is 4. With only 4 teams there will be a double round robin. Events with more than 7 teams will be split into 2 or more groups. Playoffs may occur for events with 2 or more groups.

The SCPA reserves the right to move players up to a higher level if the tournament committee judges that necessary based on past performance and recent observed play.

With the prior agreement of all players in a match, the scores will be submitted by SCPA to DUPR.

Food:
Light refreshments (veggies, fruit, muffins) will be provided free at the arena courtesy of our grocery store sponsors and the SCPA.  Restaurants nearby.

​To put on an event like this we need lots of help - we will need volunteers for specific areas,
such as the check-in table, and runners to round up the players for each event.
